Blind Hookey solitaire rules (2 decks of cards)<< Blind Alleys | Blind Patience >>

Goal: Move out the aces when you can and build them up to king in the same suit.

Build the 10 piles of the layout down in alternating suit color. Empty piles can be filled with any card.

You can only move one card at a time. Each empty pile doubles the number of cards you can move, since multiple moves would allow it.

Turn over one card at a time from the deck, playing the top card to other piles when you can.

One redeal is allowed, returning the waste pile back to the deck.

Deauville is the same game, but with the redeal removed. Emperor+ is the same game, but the redeal ends when a turned up card can not be played.

Tarbart lists Emperor (Emperor+) as a variation of Blind Hookey, adding the ability to play cards back into the layout from the ace piles. That benefit that is generally always allowed here.

SolSuite allows any number of cards to be moved, something that Tarbart explicitly forbids. He wants empty spaces made to aid in moving more than a single card.
