Rows of Four solitaire rules (2 decks of cards)<< Rouge et Noir | Royal Cotillion >>

Goal: Move out the aces when you can and build them up to king in the same suit.

Build the 8 piles of the layout down in any suit. Only the top card of a pile may be moved. Empty piles can be filled with a king.

Turn over 1 card at a time from the deck, playing the top card to other piles when you can.

2 redeals are allowed, returning the waste pile back to the deck.

Variation of: Diplomat

Difference: Only kings can play to empty piles, rather than any card. In exchange for this major restriction, 2 redeals are permitted.

If you come across George Hapgood's book, you should note that the description copies Miss Jones', but the picture has different cards dealt, no longer matching the text. It's quite confusing when you don't realize that it's the wrong picture.
